When you'd hear it
-다마다 is an old-fashioned, literary, or playfully theatrical sentence ending. It appears in historical dramas, stylized writing, and deliberately folksy speech, but is uncommon in ordinary modern conversation.
What learners get wrong
Do not confuse this emphatic agreement ending with -마다 meaning “every” or “each time,” as in 때마다. -다마다 means “certainly” or “of course” in responses such as 맞다마다.
