When you'd hear it
Common in everyday conversation, including offers, suggestions, and polite requests. It appears in dramas and ordinary speech, and can also occur in neutral written Korean.
What learners get wrong
Learners often confuse it with 도, which commonly means “also” or “too.” Use (이)라도 when the noun is a fallback or the minimum acceptable choice, not simply an additional one.
