When you'd hear it

까지 is a very common particle in everyday conversation and neutral writing. It appears after time expressions in plans, requests, and complaints, such as work schedules or asking how long someone will keep talking.

What learners get wrong

Unlike 에, 까지 marks an endpoint or limit: 6시에 일하다 means working at six, while 6시까지 일하다 means continuing to work up to six. It can also mark the endpoint of a range, including a destination.

You looked up 까지 — Ipsae makes sure you still know it in three weeks.
